Welcome to the pilot show for Fridays with Foremski.

We hope that this will become a weekly series featuring veteran business journalist Tom Foremski in conversation with thought leaders, business leaders, startups, and pundits. Along with reports on the conferences, news events, and personalities of Silicon Valley - a unique region that influences and shapes our modern world.

Our goal is to find sponsors able to underwrite the costs of producing a professionally produced show.

In this episode Tom takes us through a day at San Francisco’s Intel Developers Forum; he interviews serial entrepreneur Judy Estrin about the gender gap in Silicon Valley; and there is a panel discussion about the Obama administration’s tech policies and what they mean for innovation.

Panelists:

Drew Clark (IBM Ventures)

Jim Dempsey (Center for Democracy and Technology)

Sylvia Paull (founder of Gracenet)

Godfrey Sullivan (CEO of Splunk)

Matthew Greeley (CEO of Brightidea).

Produced by SF Media Collective. Recorded at the Horn Group.

You can view each of the three segments separately:
